2 new aqusitions
« on: March 02, 2007, 10:58:48 PM »
The bike is a 1992 250 nighthawk ,less than 600 miles on it was stored in a garage and just came out of the shop  after being fully serviced ,runs like a dream, the sign came from a old motorcycle dealership that closed about 17 years a go,the place is now a church, thy where happy to get rid of the sign, took a friend and me about ten min's with a grinder to get the sign off the building.

That's really cool there. Nice bike and a Bike Sig is always cool to have around. No telling how many of these folks who are envious about both the bike and especially the sign. Only sign I have is a Jawa motorcycle sign. I'd like to have Honda, Indian and a few others myself. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll enjoy both of them. 8)

Wow!  Less than 600 miles.  Where are you going to put the sign?  Inside the shop?

I just bought a 93 model - a few months ago - just been sitting under a carport for a while - never really been serviced either - new sprockets and chain, plus a good clean up  - does not look as good as that - but mine is roadworth and not due to be renewed until August this year (cost me $700AU). nice quiet bike, and never seems to stop,.....it has 93000km's...

If you look close at the pic there is a blemish on the tank, sat under something that leaked on it ,but thats the only flaw with this bike.

That sign is sweet.
Backlight it and throw it up in the garage...

The bike is a lot of fun to ride ,much more of a dosial and forgiving beast than any other bike I have riden,It will be come my daily rider as soon as I get it taged and titled, give the older bikes brake and not put so much ware and tear on tham.
