Hanging idle and carb adjustment
« on: February 01, 2022, 10:01:58 PM »
I have a CB500 which hangs at 2k then drops to normal-ish idle.

The #1 carburetor does not respond to the idle adjustment screw being turned all the way in, like the other carbs do.

The carbs were just rebuilt and I just checked the float level of #1 again.

All rubber is new and no vacuum leaks.

Thank you for your help!

Thats not the idle rpm adjustment screw.

We've been discussing hanging idle in another thread.  May want to scroll down and check that out.
