clutch shudder

After installing new clutchplates the clutch shudders quite a lot when I pull away in 1st gear. Any ideas anyone?

Hard to say
What bike?
What clutch plates?
What oil is in the engine?
Is it adjusted correctly?

My K3 750 had a little bit of chatter early on but it went away.

Did you soalk the new fibers in oil before fitting?

I did, but perhaps not long enough. Maybe should have left them overnight.
Will they soak up the oil whilst in the engine you think?

 Oil flows through the clutch hub they should get covered. You might try tying the lever back to let the springs relax the squeeze on the plates but that's just my non proven idea.
