CB350 Petcock rebuild kit - need part number
« on: March 07, 2007, 01:40:39 PM »
I've just dismantled my CB350 twin petcock and almost everything in there needs replacement: bowl gasket, mesh filter, petcock gasket and the rubber disc. I can order them separately but, is there a part number for a rebuild kit, as there is for the master cylinder rebuild kit?

Thanks in advance

Dont think there is a rebuid kit mate , is it the same as the 750? if so with all those bits its cheaper to get a new one from Dave Silver

Thanks for your reply Bryan. The CB750 has to bolts to attach it to the tank; the CB350 threads on a threaded tube coming down from the tank -sorry can't explain better-.

You are probably right; I will check the price of the parts first and maybe I will order a new petcock. Unfortunately, the pound is so strong that buying in the UK is getting more expensive every day, and even worst if you add the shipping costs...
