1979 CB650 project

New project bike.   Bike was gifted to me to get out of their garage

Here are some pics of resto.  A lot of work yet to do

You have your work to do on that. I see the carbs are missing. small steps gets the job done.

I’m looking at bringing back to stock.   The pic I have on this thread is after I removed carbs.  I rebuilt the assembly and have it running.  SteadiLy doing things to the bike.  Already have first shipment of parts.  Next parts are tires and sprockets.   Already have a new chain.  Have to get decals for it and have tank and Panels painted.  Hopefully that will finish it.  Lol

Progress report.  Lol.  Did the vinegar bath in tank today. Now tank is soaking for night with metal rescue.
