Does anyone know “Bob the Seat”??
« on: February 21, 2022, 06:01:29 AM »
4-5 years ago, I sent an early K0 seat pan to England for refurbishing. The gentleman was on EBay as “Bob the Seat”. He did a fantastic rebuild, at a very reasonable price. At the time he did all kinds of seats, but mostly Kawasaki Z900/1000. Anyone have contact info?

Hey John...I dont know him but do remember posts about him on the Kawasaki forum.  I've asked a question there and will let you know if I get any info back, the thread is over 8 years old.

Incredible! That’s the guy. Have you ever used him? I was extremely pleased with his wok! I’ll try and get in touch and report my findings. Much appreciated. John D.

If memory serves me, doesn’t he spend some time in Spain or Portugal, this time of year?

Is there much demand for custom seat covers? I've got the sewing machine for it, and I've made a couple seat covers before.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
