hi from the arizona desert
« on: February 21, 2022, 06:03:28 PM »
Thanks for letting me join! Excited to learn from you all here. I'm new to motorcycles. Just got my first one five months ago, an '02 Shadow 1100. Been riding it to work every day and loving every minute. Then I picked up an '86 shadow 1100 to wrench on. Then a couple days ago I picked up a '71 CB500 all in pieces. I'm going to do my best to get it running...I'm a newbie but already in real deep with this Honda addiction...

Welcome  8)
I got my 74' CB550 K0 in pieces as well. Take your time and it will come together nicely. It took me about 2 years to design and build mine with a bunch of knowledge I learned here.

Welcome from Texas, the 500 is a fine bike.

Consider starting a thread in the "Project Shop" area so we can follow along and answer any questions that arise.

Welcome from an ex-Phoenician. Assuming you know about Bob's Salvage Yard?
