another day, another #$%*ing from retail
« on: March 01, 2022, 12:01:25 PM »
First it was the mirrors I bought, sent to me with defects, I didn't complain but ended up needing to send them back anyway for a different size collet.
Surprise, surprise, they dont want to exchange because of the defect that was there when they sold it to me. I should have complained right away so there was a record of it.

I bought from an #$%* on ebay selling TWO quick latches releases for $35.00

blahhhhhh thats about what they cost individually from retailers sooo lets get it. That shows up in the mail today and there is only one in the package. I would have just bought from my favorite retailer, I would have gotten a #$%*ing sticker, or pencil, or key chain for #$%*s sake.

I think Im going to roll my bike out and detail it, its above 40 today.

Bummer!
I have been looking for a part for my CB400F for over a year. One popped up on eBay with a low buy it now price so I jumped on it. Shipping from Canada was more than I paid for the cover.
The part never arrived and the guy refunded me, but I can't help but wonder if he ever shipped it and is going to re-list it with a much higher buy it now price.

I'm still looking for a nice left side cover painted Candy Anteres Red.
I can get a reproduction but this bike has 701 miles so I'd really prefer an original.

Well after all, there were at least three Kevins that were into 400Fs, IIRC, and I knew it was you from your avatar, whatever the heck it was. ;D

;D ;D ;D ;D My original avatar was a pic of my Seeley, but I changed it to the pic of me riding the bike on I40 after the first Relay, and I've never considered changing it since then. ;D
