Reverse-name search?

Is there a way to reverse-search a forum name fomr having the member's real name?
I have a swingarm rebuilt almost 3 weeks and the owner's e-mail is protected from my Gmail account (probably a wise college system administrator did that...), so I've been trying to contact the poor guy for several weeks.

Mark, if you want to PM me the address an whatever message you would like to send I am happy to send it from my company e-mail, which should get through any firewall.

I'm happy to report in this case that [for unknown reasons] my 4th reply to his email finally got thru!
