That was a nice touch, leaving the rear vision mirror on.If some "cage" tried to overtake them they would see it comming. Those boys thought of everything.......

it would have been nice to use a drive shaft bike and sit on the bike. a direction system conect to the fork to steer would be nice.

Any SOHC's airborne yet?

On www.cbfourclub.nl/Documentatie/Documentatie.htm you'll find an interesting story about a man who turned  two CB350Four engines  into a 700cc V8. For more smoothness.

I feel sorry for the bike!  Couple of yahoos chopping it and frankensteining it to a beat up boat. They even used a piss poor prop on the thing! Imagine the indignities that bike has suffered!

Yes, the word indignity sums it up perfectly. It's just not right to do that to any motorcycle!

I read an article last week of a guy who makes V8s out of old bikes and one of them was a KZ1300x2. Looked pretty big and scary.

Speaking ov V8's...

I met a man in denver(longtime pal of My boss at the time) that took two '26? '27'? inline 4 henderson motors, and made a V-8 out of, It had a aircraft generator for a charging system, drip carbs, no aircleaners.
It even had a vintage sidecar. The old guy said he had to have it, being in his late 70's his ballance wasn't the same anymore.

Twas a sight to see, looked nice, and stock if you didn't know he modified it like that.

Well, there is a SOHC bike engine airborne but its not a Honda. Still interesting though....

Yup.  Slowest SOHC/4 ever, despite something that even sandcasts don't have: rower-boost.

Actually that would be a v12 as the KZ 1300 was a six cyl watercooled mill.

Sorry you are right. Some other KZs he built were V8s but the "KZ2600" is a V12 which makes it even more difficult to believe.
