Alternative CB350F Headlight Bucket
« on: May 01, 2022, 06:49:19 AM »
Hi All, I've been searching for a headlight bucket for my 1973 CB350F. CMNLS list that the bucket was used on 21 different models but I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions on an alternative/similar fit bucket e.g. how different is the CB400F bucket?

I have a couple of CB400F buckets in good shape. One with front chrome headlight lens trim ring. There are some differences, yet I can't say what specifically they are on the CB400F vs CB350F.

Based in Ontario if you find that the 400F will work for you and are interested send me a PM.

Thanks for the reply. I actually own a restored 400f. I shall try temporarily fitting the 400f headlight to the 350f. It’s difficult to see the differences between the 2 models from pictures.

I looked at the bucket as I too own a number of these bikes. My take is the 400 bucket design likely has less room for wiring given the small back pocket in the shell. The CB350F has a more rounded off shell design. I think both will bolt up to the fork ears or bracket in the 400 set up.

I found that you can use the headlight bucket from a Honda CB350K4-K5/G model twin cylinder;that's the same one.  ;)
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
