« on: March 28, 2022, 11:09:19 AM »
Did the very early (#1250) cb750s have a warning sticker on the oil tank?

Thanks..... Apparently the early decals are different than what is regularly available, so checking around.

Yes. The decal on the tank is an obvious reproduction. It resembles the original. That's the best that can be said about it

The stickers on my 5511 sandcast had been peeled off when fresh and re-stuck under the seat. I was able to re-peel the tire sticker and place it back on the rear fender where I suspect it was before.

Thanks for this photo. I do have a sticker that looks like that coming. Some people have suggested the really early machines did not have the US pints detail. Any idea what # machine that was on?

“JLH” responded with a PM. Thanks for the details, much appreciated.
