Pitting on Cylinders
« on: March 23, 2022, 03:57:49 PM »
Has anyone else come across small swatches of pitting on their cylinders?  I honestly don't think I remember seeing it before, but I could be wrong. Is this normal? If not, is it anything to fret over, will the pits get larger?
Thankful for everyone on this forum. Grateful to continue to learn so much.

I would not worry about them.

Yes, have had that, it's a casting flaw, nothing to worry about.

That's great to know, thank you fellas! I've grown to be a worry wart when it comes to this motor; don't want anything to go wrong or stand in the way!

This is my Kawasaki cylinder that I was concerned about, but has been no issue...
