Finally!
« on: April 04, 2022, 07:26:36 PM »
Long time, no see, guys! After damn near 6 months of waiting, my original tank is done! I recently went through and rebuilt the 069A carbs (at the advice of Hondaman, I kept all of my original Keihin parts with the exception of the float valves, which were TRASHED; replaced them with what I believe to be genuine parts). Once I pick up the tank and make sure she's good to go, I'll be getting the carbs back on and hooked up and synced.

Do yourself a big favor. Get a temporary test tank (@$55 on the web or make your own) put the carbs on now and do the sync before you put the refurbed tank on. That will save the tank from falling off and or gunk in the carbs that might be in the tank and fubar the clean carbs.
