Source for a fork lock and ignition switch matched to the same key?

Can buy a new set of locks with helmet, fork, & ignition set all keyed alike for several models of bikes on eBay or from your dealer...

That kit has the later ign switch with rectangular connector.
K0-K2 have round brown connector.
This threadstarter has a K0.

I need a set for a K2 so at least ignition switch and seat lock has same key. Tricky to find.

It might be possible to modify the later ignition switch to fit the older harness if reusing an old round connector.

If it is OK to use a newer switch that CB750 specialists will see is later design.

Probably possible to take the round contact housing from a cheap aftermarket K0-K2 switch. Or if the wires need to be cut and soldered together if connectors (sockets/pins) are different

My K6 got a complete kit like the link.

It had a cheap aftermarket switch that got connection issues after a few years. Saw it on my voltage display that voltage suddenly dropped 0.5V. Fiddled with the key and it came back.
Honda stock switch was my choice.

I did not use the steering lock since EU bikes have a separate lock, Neiman.

What is the European lock like and how does it differ in function to the USA bikes?

Its only on some European bikes and is the same as the 550K3, goes sideways into the frame kneck and locates in a slot in the steering stem, Honda never supplied spare keys so if you lost them you had to drill the lock out after removeing the rivet held washer
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
