turn signal wiring

I've got my 74 cb550 all back together and I'm sorting out a few electrical issues. I want to know if my turn signal behaviour is correct. All wiring is stock with the exception of some incorrectly coloured turn signal wires.
When the headlight and running lights are on and I select the left turn signal, the right running light goes out and then the left signal blinks while the left running light staying lit. The behaviour is reversed on the right. Is this correct? I don't remember the opposing running light canceling.

Its not right, you have the running light wIres connected to wrong sides.
Indicators in loom are blue and orange, running lights same colour with white strip, cant remember which side is which sorry
