Hose from brake flluid reservoir to rear master on 77 750F
« on: April 02, 2022, 06:25:19 AM »
I just rebuilt the rear master cylinder on my 77 750F.  The hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder is flared and split on both ends.  What kind of hose do I need to replace it?

Thanks,
John

Is it the same line as a 1975 750F?  I believe it is.  If they are the same I have a sample one that I use to have copies made by a local hydraulic hose place for me.  Try taking yours into a hose place where you live and they should be able to make one for you.  Mine have all the DOT markings and look original.  Cost around $40-50 I believe. If all else fails I can have one made for you here locally and sent it to you.

I know the part number, it's unavailable.  I dont know the id size.  The fitting on the MC measures about 11 mm.  I'd like to take it somewhere to see if I can find a hose that will work, just was hoping someone would know the size.  Thanks,

I have a decent hose off a 1977 cb750F.  If you want I can take it off and go to my supplier and have one made up and then I can ship it to you.   All together it should be around the $100 mark.  Comes with all the proper DOT markings right on the hose.  This is what i have on some of my bikes.
Let me know.

Since there is a part difference between the years, I can use the hose off of my '77 cb750f as my sample and have a copy made up.
