Topic: Wheel chock on motorcycle lift.

Like many of us I am using a harbor freight special for a lift. I was kind of wondering for those of you who have upgraded your wheel chock what you have gone to and if you have a picture and a link?

The same store used to sell some fairly inexpensive chocks.

 I made this one out of left-over metal, it was on my lift but I robbed it and mounted it in the car trailer.  I'm back to the stock wheel clamp with a couple pieces of plywood between the vise and tire to give it more bite on the tire.

I took the original wheel chock off my HF lift and threw it under the tool box. It's only good for clamping boards while I cut them. I have one of those chocks with the the part that flips up behind the tire that I can bolt to the lift table but it spends more on the bike trailer. We are usually pulling the front end off for a rebuild so the wheel chock is in the way but it works a lot better than the original.

I had been looking at some of the flip up type but was unsure about them..  just hadnt seen anyone use them in person or video before

They work good,have one on my trailer and will put one on my lift one of these days.
