Caswell tank sealer advice

Hello,

So I used caswell epoxy tank sealer on my k2 tank, and after looking in my tank I seem to have some spots that are very thinly coated with the sealer but most is a very thick coat. From those of you who have experience with this product, could this be an issue? Thanks!

 I thinned mine according to the instructions. It seemed very thick and difficult to spread. As long as the coating is continuous it should be OK. I don't think there is a lot you can do about it now anyway.

It should be fine as long as you did not create any impediment of flow to the petcock.

I have used Caswell numerous times in the past.  The thick spots do not hurt anything, it will happen when you first use the product.  After a couple of uses, you become more familiar with how the product spreads or if you need to thin it due to temperature.  In my humble opinion it is by far the most durable product out there, I will not use anything else and I have tried most of them on the market......
