Scott, very cool car. Hopefully you and new neighbors get along well. That is a really nice example of a little red sporty car, being two stroke they are unlikely to be pita types of neighbors I would hope.

John, hope your wife's BBQ goes well and everyone enjoys the event, it goes smoothly and the cleanup as well as the event isn't too much work...

My wife is hosting the annual BBQ for her Survivors Abreast Dragon Boat Team, today. +20 women and others. The focus has been intense. I’ll be happy when it’s done and life returns back to normal!

John, is your wife recovered and participating with the team?

Kevin….. Thanks for asking! She was practicing with the team in the indoor paddleing tank at Trent University since February and they went on the water in April! Already two Gold Medals and a Silver. If it was me, I’d still be in bed, but between exercise classes, Yoga and gardening, there’s no stopping her. The Doctor at St Mikes hospital in Toronto said “12 months”. She said “I bet 6”. He gave her the $5 on her last visit in May……

Cannot keep a good woman down ( unless she decides to give up)
You wife sounds a lot like my mom, she doesn't let much keep her down for long and is driven crazy by being kept indoors for extended periods or the like. My mom still gardens at 85...not as much and she is falling frequently when outside in tall grass, she had an accident about 20 years ago and lost her right knee and it was replaced with a titanium rod. Until the past 2 or 3 years she was highly mobile and fiercely independent and self sufficient.

I haven't touch any of the bikes nor really had the time/space with all the events and delays with the house and work.
But I do have some positives of my life coming back together. I took and easily passed the electrictrians test at work and am interviewing for positions across the steel mill.
With the new woman I sleep now and don't fight nightmares when I do.
I've been living a happy and peaceful albeit very busy life.
Sometimes things have to fall apart to fall together.
I'm happier than I have been in years and have a peace in life I've never had.  Slowly working on putting everything else back together one step at a time

That's great to hear Gurp. Great on all fronts and an encouraging outlook for those of us who are still working on our own stuff. I haven't touched my Hondas in a while.

I'm feeling it too Stu. This year has been a busy one for me at work, I'm reaching out for another position that may or may not be within my reach. And I've been travelling covering for vacationing coworkers in other parts of the country. Having everything in storage and living without a workshop is no way to live.

I've got almost all my stuff in my garage but it's also a staging area for house stuff. So like you I haven't touched the bikes. I need too.

The local news weather man reported that here in NH July was second hottest on the records. So it isn't just your imagination.

Alan
Are you away fulltime or just during the week days? I had a great ride last Saturday to Greenfield MA for the antique motorcycle show and swapmeet. Had a blast and it was a comfortable ride at 86 and drier humidity, but warm standing out in the sun at the meet.

I'm out next at the end of September for 2 weeks straight. I'm on this weekend and every 2nd weekend, so not much time to myself when I'm home. Rice-o-rama is September 8th and I'm hoping to ride there, are there any other events coming up?

Maybe its time to get the local crew together for pints and burgers, its been a while. We used to meet Wednesday nights a few month each year...

I'm happy that my 94' Kawasaki Concours 1000 took me 400 miles home after the water pump seal started to leak in Lewiston Idaho. I had to add about 8oz of water to the overflow bottle every 50 miles. Doing that kept it running nice and cool in the 100° temperatures in eastern Washington.  8)

My wife was expecting a slightly newer golf cart (to replace the one she’s no longer “happy-ish” with). I stumbled on this Land Master LS650, but never mentioned it. She took it for a spin and came back smiling. I’m very “Happy-ish”!

I have never been to a bike night before, and finally went to one at cycle gear last night. I hung out and talked to a few people until the end and as I was getting ready to go a guy told me "don't leave yet, you won by default". Huh? What did I win?  They said because everyone left and I was last that I won the door prize. They gave me a tail bag for my bike, so I'm pretty happyish!
