Front and Rear Wheel Conversion

So I'm on the hunt for front end forks. I'm already planning on snagging the triple tree that Joker Machine has on their site so I won't have to worry about clearance issues. I'll probably end up grabbing CBR's 600 or 1k's for the front forks, doesn't matter to me. My confusion in this entire matter and my question is this: how am I to go about finding a set of matching wheels for the front and rear if im sticking with the drum setup in the rear?

Do they make hubs that you can buy and just swap them out for a particular set of wheels you want?

I grabbed a front and rear suspension from an RZV500 and am adapting R6 front and rear wheels. Can be seen here:  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,189755.0.html

Not sure how you are going to deal with a rear drum brake if you want modern wheels though.

Maybe get some custom spokers built for you? you can probably spec what type of hub and brakes you want, but probably won't be an "inexpensive" solution....

I thought about that as I was reading this. I wanted to stick with the drum, but now I'll probably end up opting for the disc brake conversion - more options.

The Joker triples are setup for the 750 with stock 35mm tubes. Be aware of that before you opt for non-stock forks.

You can use the stock hubs and simply lace them to aftermarket spoked rims. Or are you trying to go for a mag-type wheel?

I didn't realize that til now unfortunately. So let's say I go with the Joker triples, and refurbish my stock 35mm 750 forks - now I'm still stuck with figuring out how to adapt a new wheel to the front end (rear shouldn't be a problem if I go with the disc conversion).

I don't want to have mismatched rims.
