Hi All, CB550f2 from South coast UK
« on: May 11, 2022, 10:26:32 AM »
Hi all. Thought Ada say hello after putting up my first post yesterday.
About 3 years ago I bought a cheap but sorry state 1978 CB550f that had been stored outside under a sheet for about 12 years after being written off by the insurance company.
Luckily it was a UK cat c write off which means it was not economically viable to repair.
A lot of cosmetic damage but frame etc fine.
Anyway it sat in my garage until about 5 months ago I started turning it into a bit of a custom street tracker style bike.
It’s getting there now just the electrics to finish.
Looks like a great forum. Expect I’ll be asking a few questions as I hope to keep the 550 for long term. 🙂
Clive.
