Henry Abe Wheels
« on: May 16, 2022, 10:06:54 PM »
A friend has a set of HA 7 star cb750 wheels for sale, the rear is an 18" not sure of the width, were there different widths? The rear has the sprocket and cush drive and the rear drum brake on it. The front is the 19" rim only. The pics look good even though they are used. He paid $400, that sounds a little strong, but I think the market is coming back after the warehouse full of them got sold off.
Whada you think? I was looking at a 16" disc brake rim on ebay and a 5 star Suzuki rim that has the 6 hole brake pattern. I remember Frank saying the suzi front is fairly easy to use on a cb750. Those two would end up around $225.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

Don, the rear rims pop up regularly for sale and usually go for $100-200. The fronts seem to be a lot rarer, I rarely see them for sale. Interestingly my NOS Henry Abe rear rim weighs 2 pounds more than a stock spoke wheel.
