That’s a great bit of engineering solution when stick in middle of nowhere and you have blown a fuse and cannot get a replacement but you have a soldering iron and access to mini fuses, it will work as long as there isn’t a problem which was not fixed that caused the fuse to blow…at least until you can get a proper fuse or retrofit/upgrade/replace your fuse box with one designed for moderand easily obtained automotive fuses

A small 1/4 20 bolt will find any shorts in the wiring and circuits too..😳

Don’t try at home without proper supervision and fire extinguisher 🤪 Not serious, don’t try this 🤪

Having a butane powered soldering iron on your tool kit with some connectors and wire might not be a bad addition to the tool kit for long trips...

Sure hope they tinned their leads! I’d hate to have cold solder joints after all that work

Yeah, perfect for future troubleshooting! Any shorts in that harness will show their face really quick

A .22 long rifle cartridge will snap into the fuse holder, but I don't recommend it. ;D
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

With modern smokeless powders in the open air they will just burn if not confined in the case, gunpowder in the form of black powder explodes and burns in open air with a flash
