Do the front mounted running lights remain on even when not being used as turn signals

If your turn signals have 2 wires plus the ground on the front yes there should be running lights on with the headlight switch in the on position on the 74 cb750. It is possible someone changed the turn signal assembly to a 1 wire on your bike as the rear turn assembly is, and thus no running lights in there on your bike. How many wires does your have muzzy?

My K4 has been wired that way. The lamp sockets are the dual filament style and are on with all lights. The turn signals are tied to the brighter circuit. Works well.

Thanks to all I have 2 wires running to the side lamps, so assume its quite normal for side lamps to be on with the headlight.

We used to add the running lamps to bikes that didn't have them. My brother is also fond of the red rear turn signals/running light lenses.
