Dynatek with no spark
« on: May 29, 2022, 01:43:58 PM »
Went to take the CB750 for a ride today and would not start. Dynatek ignition and coils. Had not been ridden for a week. Pulled the plugs and no spark. When I first tried to start it, the kill switch was off. Turned it on and got one pop. Any ideas?

Check the wiring connection from the pickup
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Verify the wires so they have no contact with the rotor.
Wire insulation will quickly grind off when in contact with rotor.
I had to use a strap to keep the wires away from the rotating part.
