Question for Sparks:  Recently saw this in a bike blog.  He suggested wiring rear turn signals to the brake light for a grander response.  Is that doable?

Install double filament socket, three tail lights, three brake lights.

 Around here they need to be red if they are used as brake lights. That is a can-do thing though. It might require a trailer taillight separator.
   On my gl1000 I added drag specialties taillight/brakelights to the license plate frame and left the turn signals yellow.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

Yes it is doable. I did it on my brother's bike in 1976.
Get an extra set of front turn signals for the dual filament socket to replace the rear single filament lights and a set of red lenses to replace the yellow lenses so you don't have problems with the  LEOs or inspection laws.

Might want to use LED bulbs to lower current draw.

If you really want to be seen, I highly recommend the P3 lights to add next to your sides of the license plate, they are LED that are intensly bright, they flicker in tail light mode to get attention of those behind you, flash in brake light mode and also there is an optional turn signal that also has 4 way flasher and tip over flashers.
I've followed behind bikes with them. They burn holes in unsuspecting blind cage drivers.......very impressive to get their attention. Not Cheap but very effective.

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

I'd rather stick to the original and have a level playing field. Once people enter the rat race, we may end up with even canons in the yard in stead of our innocent AR-15s.
