Hey Joel. I just fancied trying a slightly more 'sedate' setup on these two. I may swap out for a 17T front sprocket once I've tried it..

Hey!  I was just curious. Bought a 16T today (JT Sprocket) and wondered why you went up one? My god you do beautiful work. Of course I knew that from the FB police bikes.  I just found this thread!

Suppose I’d better provide a bit of an update. The day job and summer holidays have kept progress fairly intermittent, but both bikes are on the home straight now.

Latest photos from earlier this week.

The carbs on the bike in the foreground took close to 12 hours of work to clean, plate and rebuild. Possibly the most gummed-up K0 carbs I’ve tackled yet!

Asking the same question as Steve did; whose shocks are you using? The replicas I have for the Sandcast look good but they have 5 “click” positions instead for three. How many on yours? I’m taking apart my originals, to see if I can move the toothed base ring over.....

New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

Lol hi guys - I’m here, sorry for the radio silence.

I’ve been a bit busy with family stuff (just got back from vacation in Europe with the family).

Progress has slowed a bit on the 2 x K0’s, but they should be done in the next few weeks.

I’m also about to go into rehearsal for playing Scrooge in the UK premier of a US concert version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ - so that will mean less time for ‘spannering’ in Nov/Dec.

Here’s where the K0’s are at..

Apologies - didn’t spot this. Shocks were sourced from Yamiya..

Apologies, have been so focussed on getting these bikes over the line / finished I’ve been somewhat delinquent in taking photos. The red bike is now finished and the blue bike just needs the tank badges fitting (I’m missing 4 x tank emblem clips).

The red bike is heading up to the NEC at the weekend with my mate Andy, to be displayed on the BSA owners club stand at the Classic Car and Bike show (he had a space and offered to display the bike).

Sadly I won’t be at the show - but if anyone here is going, feel free to pop by the stand and say hi to Andy and the bike :-).

Just amazing work, two beautiful bikes, an embarrassment of riches.
I nominate both bikes for bike of the month, not sure how that works with two bikes.

Thanks for all the feedback and compliments - it really does mean a lot coming from members of the forum.

I just dropped the bike up to Andy, and she’ll be on display on the BSA owners club stand at the classic car and bike show this weekend. How ironic..

She looks rather stunning out in the sunshine.
