750A charge system

I bought 750A parts bike.
Will the rotor and stator fit a 1977 750K ?

All you really need to change is the field coil. It draws about 0.25A extra power below 2200 RPM, but increases alternator output about about 1.25 amps above 3000 RPM.

By the way, the diode plate looks a little different , kind of a flat design, worked ok.

 I also wondered if there was any advantage to using the A rectifier and voltage regulator along with the alternator. I kept all of that and the wiring intact. 
 I think that diode plate is mounted backwards on an A.
