Don…. Amazing little bikes. We’re looking for an old 125 as he really has outgrown these. Time to learn to use the clutch and gearbox!

Kinda funny....A friend of mine owns a small chunk of acreage kinda between the outskirts of town and the countryside.  About a week or so ago I and some other bike riding buddies were hanging out over there.  2 of my buddies had brought their early teen sons and small dirtbikes so they could ride.  But the Kawi 110 and Yamaha 125 were just sitting there in the barn while the boys messed with their phones, played video games, and of course dads are lamenting how they can't get their son's interested in riding.  Soon enough, the adults gravitated to the little bikes and old guys were zipping around on bikes much too small.  Next thing ya know we are doing time trials around the barn.  That quickly escalated to a heads up flat track race.  We all had so much fun the property owner decided to mow a dedicated flat track on his property and we are having a race in October.  As I don't have a family, I gotta find a bike though!  Its hard to find a cheap little bike.  Size limit is 150cc 4 stroke or 80cc 2 stroke.
If it works good, it looks good...

pretty funny you picked that one Steve-O...a good friend of mine is selling a really nice one.  It's a little too nice to be crashin' in a field for kicks, but I may still grab it...or maybe I will grab that one and see if I can fix the trans.  I almost forgot about craigslist, as it seems like everybody uses fakebook marketplace now.

I rebuilt a Yamaha 80 mini enduro for a friend. The guy that did the machine work +2 overbore ported it too. I made the mistake of testing the engine before fixing the brakes. I almost rode it into a fence.
This poor bike was the worst POS I ever rebuilt, they beat it into the dirt literally, then where they left it, the dog peed on it. I spent a couple grand and didn't do any cosmetic restoration.
