1971 Engine Mounting Kit?
« on: June 28, 2022, 08:41:29 PM »
Hi everyone! I've finally got an engine for my 1971 (go me!). However, I need the bolts to mount it and I'm having a devil of a time finding exactly what I need. Does anyone have a URL of where I can buy like a kit of the bolts to mount it?

I've not seen a kit offered of the engine mounting bolts.
You have to buy them individually.
You say It is for your 1971...... What bike is your 1971????

Not a good thing to make us ASSUME what your 71 is.

His sig says he has 3 different 750's. Either put an add in the wanted section for the bolts you need or start trolling E-bay or any other place where you can locate some used parts. Do you still have the triangle shaped motor mount that goes on the front as you will need that also.

This parts fiche shows what "engine hangers" you will need.  I've sourced the short bolts at my local hardware store, but as Eric suggested, the others can be had either from members here or on eBay...

Tip: use the part number from the fiche to search on ebay...
