Im looking at this rear wheel to complete a set but it showed that the number on it was modified. instead of 20100 is shows 20500. any answer for that?

 I have to guess it was a factory defect. Somewhere here there is a list of Lester numbers.

the only thing I could find so far is on the UK site is that is was for a 550 and a different sprocket carrier that goes with

oops never mind it was sold.
the only other info I saw was that there were kawasaki lesters that were modified to fit 550's and the 1 was replaced with a 5.

not sure how great a modded rear would have been but I will still be on the look out for one.

Kawasakis had clones of Morris wheels. Yamahas had clones of Lesters. The cross-section of Morris "spokes" is a +, while Lesters are an H or I.

I wasn't sure how that mod would affect trying to source the right parts to fit to the rear of my 550. If I can't find a rear for this front I'll probably go back to using it for rear disk conversion.

If you want to match a Lester wheel, you need to look at Yamaha wheels, not Kawasaki. This is a Morris wheel next to a Kawasaki clone.
