Adjustable Cam sprocket... pics

I machined my cam sprocket the other day to make it adjustable. It has 12deg (plenty in my opinion) of adjustment and the radial tolerances are just a little tighter than the stock hole. The second picture is the holder I machined so I could put it in the rotary table. The sprocket fits precisely on the holder and is clamped firmly on to the shoulder.
I don't know what kind of steel this is made of, but my tool cut it like butter. A little disconcerting.

Very nice job. Falicons offer a little more (maybe 15) but that's great what you did. Falicon used to harden their sprockets but I got 1 yesterday and it's just plated
. Looks from offshore.

None yet. I have still to put my cylinder head on... a dowel pin that was stuck in the head got lost in the cleaner at the machine shop and I'm waiting for the new one to arrive from Japan. I will be dialing in the cam according to the specs on my cam card.

Keep us posted. I want to know if there's a noticeable difference in advancing the camshaft

Degreeing the cam is not only for when you install a performance cam, but is part of blue printing a stock motor (making it stock) basically setting the cam up, to what mr Honda had designed for the motor.
