I've drained this battery accidentally 3 times, once my charging system failed on the way to chicago on the 550, bike wouldn't start the next day. I installed a new acid battery and rode the bike home...when it happened to the acid battery i figured it out. I killed it once again in Detroit and then again the other day when i left the key on for almost two hours. This thing holds a full charge still, has been jump started twice by cars. Ive had it goin on three seasons now and only give it a full charge in the winter and then store it on a shelf unhooked until im ready for it in the spring, I charge it with anything, no lithium specific charger and I run the cb500/550 model in my 750. I ordered the correct one for my 750 but after 4 months of not showing up i canceled the order.
I thought this thing #$%* the bed on me a few times but NOPE.
