Stock CB750K7 Kerker exhaust Not looking for more power, just smooth running, good gas milage .

Why do you think the hundreds of man hours Honda spent on the stock carbs is inadequate?

Then it's stock carbs to go with the stock airbox.

My K6 back in the day had the stock carbs and airbox(opened up a little bit for more flow intake which worked great with the Kerker, 811, big cam, 3 angle valve cuts

What sort of trouble do you have with the stock ones? When clean and set up right they are great carbs. they came a little lean but that is a easy fix.

The stock K7-K8/F2 & F3 carbs have that 'touchy',easy to clog accelerator pump system, which is great and they run excellent when those tiny passages/brass jets are clear.. owners leave their bikes sit and..  ::) :D

I think the first step to do is get the tank completely,100% rust and dirt free  ;)
I paid a place to do surgery on a Honda fuel tank and they're called gas tank renu(gastankrenu.com)and now the tank is guaranteed to never rust again:for the life of the bike.I won't have anymore little particles gravity-feeding down into my carbs.

Never have any trouble with my 78 750K. I do keep a clean filter in my tank. I also keep a old stocking under the fuel door for when I fill it. I did have to clean the entire system when I got it after it sat for four years. I think most people just don't take the time to learn how to clean and set them up the first time then want to blame it on the carbs. A few years back they did give me a fit learning how set everything up took about three tries but all the help I needed was right here Thanks to TwoTired and others Damn that's been 8 years of fun
