CB750 K7 side covers
« on: August 02, 2022, 12:40:36 AM »
These covers was supposed to be made for a K7, but they do not seem to fit the holes in the Oil tank. Is it perhaps a K8 Oil tank made for the smaller covers, or can anyone see what is up?

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

FB Stuff has faithful reproductions cast in a mold made from original sidecovers:

https://www.fb-stuff.com/fb-stuff-store.html

They are cast in urethane and are much stronger and won't get brittle with age like the original ABS plastic does. I have several sets and would wager that I could drive the bike over one of them without breaking it.  8)

I've used a bunch of those FB-stuff sidecovers and never had a problem.

I'll have to try it on one of the 500/550 covers first... since I don't have any 500/550's! Got a couple of the "little brother" covers in a grab bag assortment.  8)
