K0 lower triple tree spotting question
« on: August 07, 2022, 10:16:40 AM »
Are there any specific differences in the K0 lower trees to tell them apart from newer ones? Forgive the dumb question, I should know this.

Not K0 specific but the earlier ones have the hole and mounting boss in the lower tree for the steering lock.  Somewhere between K2 and K7 this changed.  I

Thanks, I think it looks just like that.
I dug a parted out diecast out of a mudhole years ago. Foolishly took it apart and didn't keep the pieces separated from newer stuff. I sold the rusty frame to a member here, delivered it to the Chicago area for $100. (I was going there anyway).   Early 10,000's if I recall correctly.
