Firstly appologies to the mods for putting this in bikes, i did so as i believe more people look in this, quite happy for you to move the whole post.
I am a member of the Royal British Legion, riders branch and the legion does a lot of work raising funds to help injured servicemen and women
Members on here from many countries may have lost relatives or friends in ww2 flying in the UK bomber command which was all volunteers.
In the City of Lincoln is the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) which is a memorial to all personell of Bomber Command who lost their lives, eventually all those names will be on steel plates displayed outside with a 102ft tall spire, that being the wingspan of the Lancaster bomber.
In November close to the UK remembrance day i will be visiting the site and would be more than happy to place a red poppy, our remembrance flower, against any name that members give me, some may not yet be there as more plates are added when funds alow.
Should anyone want pics of of the site please visit the IBCC website or send me an email and i will send copies.
We shall remember them
