Finned covers
« on: August 18, 2022, 02:47:24 PM »
Took these finned covers off a CB750 and plan to sell them. Do these come painted as in the photo or are they not painted. I didn't know if I should put them in the parts washer to clean them up first, but that would take the black paint off. The fins are not painted.

I owned a set like that, years ago and they were not painted.
You only go around once in life so it might as well be on a motorcycle.

I've always seen them provided in the as-cast condition...  They'd probably look best that way, or vapor blasted.

My K6 has ign and clutch  covers.
Not painted and keep the look very well.

Price of  CB750 stock ign cover is crazy today.
