Looks like I need a new drive chain for my 78 CB550
Any suggestions on where to buy and price range?

Is that your choice for a 550 or a 750? The 550 has clearance issues with wider chains. Also, sealed chains tend to cost nearly twice that of a non-sealed chain of the same strength and brand. It may last twice as long, but in the end you could buy two standard chains for the same price...

Thanks for the replies guys.
Scottly, can you elaborate on what you mean by clearance issues?
The DID chain is wider than a standard chain?

Standard DID chains are fine. The issue is with o-ring or x-ring chains from any manufacturer. They are wider and eat into the case around the front sprocket.

dont bother with an o ring chain, good on dirt bikes or big tourers, standard weigh less and less friction anyway, just get a quality non o ring save ya money.
