Correct Fork Tubes?
« on: August 27, 2022, 04:25:40 AM »
I recently bought a ‘75 750F that I’m working to get road worthy. It rides rough, particularly in the rear, and bottoms out easily.   Also, it is extremely difficult to get it up on the center stand.   I finally put 2 and 2 together and realized some previous owner has put short shocks on it.  Replacements of the correct length are on the way, but this has me thinking about the front now. How can I confirm whether or not the forks have been monkeyed with, particularly in terms of length?    They don’t leak afaik (yet to be confirmed with a fork oil change), and I’d rather not pull them apart if I don’t have to.

Wheel and tire sizes are correct.
