I plan to modify an airbox rubber inlet tube, prep the parts properly, etc. on a Honda XL200R dirt bike.
I will install a carb. with a larger bell-mouth which won't fit the stock airbox inlet tube;I want to cut the original and bond a portion of the OEM Honda inlet tube from the larger carburetor.
Does 3M,etc. make a very strong rubber cement that will 'hang tough' to keep those together ?

You can also bond rubber pretty well with Super Glue. I've done it before to make repairs on motorcycle rubber. Some say its the best way. https://info.aronalpha.net/blog/why-should-i-use-super-glue-for-rubber-bonding

If you follow the instructions, on any good manufacturer’s rubber cement, you will get amazing results. Buy the “non stringy” style for easier application. Coat both pieces and let dry completely. Totally! When you touch the two pieces together, you’re done, no 2nd chances…….

In Canada, Elmer’s or Bull Dog Grip.

I tried the Devcon Flexane putty to fill some crankcase joint imperfections, I even read & followed the instructions  :D , one week passed, no curing had happened, then after 2 weeks, the same, so I tried 50/50 mix, followed by a google search,,MMMMM  :-[ , wrong choice of product was the realization
