Topic: What Sissy Bar/Top Box is this?

Bought this 78 550 to be a parts bike for $500. I got it home and with a bit of gas, a battery and fuse change she started right up!!!!! Now my old bike is probably gonna be the parts bike lmao.

My question is does anyone know the brand of the sissy bar top box combo? I think it’s pretty cool

Hmmm...needs some stabilizer struts...these connect between the back of the luggage rack frame and (usually) the top holes in the tillight license-plate mounts This prevents the wiggle from that load from turning the steering head, a very unnerving sensation!

I don't recognize the frame nor the box, though?

Luggage that far rear and up must make bike very unstable at front. Top box lower and more forward must improve.
Side bags and/or tank bag will make a safer ride.

If it was in UK i would say Tower, problem is you need a hinged carrier to open the seat

Yeaaaa, the first thing i tried to do was open the seat lmao. Couldn't do it with out stripping the sissy bar, box, and hardware off.

Yup F2 was a special carrier with the top plate having a simple hinge at the back and the two angled down tubes ended in a fork that was held to a threaded bracket on bottom rail with large round thumbcrew thingys

I had to make a (the current) custom seat for mine. Things were OK with the tail trunk until my main pssenger wanted a backrest, then the OEM seat wouldn't open more than 3".
