source for o rings on fuel pipes
« on: August 31, 2022, 08:34:19 PM »
anybody have a lead on a good source for the orings that are installed on the fuel pipes that join the carbs on a cb350f.  I am not sure of the dimensions.

thanks

Hondaman, sent me some for a 750 once. He might still have some. Standardization has caused some sizes to be difficult to find.

I don't know if the 350F uses the same size as on the 550 and 750, but JT Marks on ebay has them for the 550/750

The other option is to get the carb gaskets set
David Silver Spares has the Honda kits with the orings

I put all new gaskets on 400F carbs last year.  I just got viton O-rings of the correct size and thickness through o-rings.com.  Everything works great and there’s no leaks.

Not a good option.  They don't usually have the correct sizes for the orings for Honda fitment.

I don’t know the size for this bike but the 650 with PD carbs are as follows.

Fuel rail o-rings: 6mm ID x 2mm cross section
McMaster part number: 9262K166

They are just carb fuel rail orings so I wouldn’t be surprised if they are the same. If I were you I’d disassemble and measure. McMaster has what you want 100%.

Contact Nurse Julie as she does kits of viton O rings for the 400 and i would think the 350 is same sizes

I've used the O-ring Store https://www.theoringstore.com/store/ several times - you can get them in any size and any compound you want, so you just need to know the dimensions.  They don't use USPS shipping anymore, so shipping is more expensive, but if you order all the o-rings you need for a complete rebuild + spares, it works out reasonably.
