V&H dohc/sohc 4-1 exhaust baffle?
« on: September 12, 2022, 09:52:45 PM »
I bought a V&H 4-1 header a few years ago to use on a cb900c. The buyer didn't want to pay much, so I kept the exhaust. Anyway, it's been up on the shelf since, but I never bought the baffle for it. There is no such animal listed anywhere today but has anyone found a decent substitute for them?
I have installed it on a sohc4 since then and it fit pretty well, it's just reeeaallly loud.

I think a Kerker baffle might fit.

I used a Vortex cone in the sidewinder on my GSXR1100. It didn't kill the sound but knocked it down a few decibels. Got it from Jegs or Summit not sure which.
