400F vs 500F engine weight
«

I'm looking to fit a 400F or 500F engine into a project I'm working on and I was curious about both the size and weight differences between the two.
Thanks,
Bob

the 500 is about 25 lbs heavier. That's wet weight with 14 liters of fuel.

A member weighed his CB400F engine, 130 pounds less carbs.

Page 136 of the Honda Service Manual gives a CB500 weight of 152 lbs. The 550 weight is 159 lbs. (page 138).
