Bracket race at Farmington Dragway this Saturday.
« on: November 04, 2022, 10:33:25 pm »
Well, I'm all loaded up and will be headed to Farmington Dragway in 5 hours or so. I'm going to bracket race the F3 and may try testing the mono shock F1 on nitrous if time permits. This'll be my first attempt at spraying the bike and I'm apprehensive to say the least. Odds are it'll run through the clutch once the progressive ramps in the power. Wish me luck cause this is a go or blow situation.  Lol.

Didn't have an opportunity to make any passes with the mono shock F model because I decided to race the F3 in the ET bracket class.  I was also the race coordinator for the metrics and really didn't have time to mess with 2 bikes. We got one round of eliminations in before the rain came and canceled the event. I did win 1st round so I got a few coins back after the split with 38 racers remaining. Hahaha 😆 I needed the seat time prior to the Man Cup event in a few weeks since I haven't raced the bike much all season.  It took a while yesterday to knock the rust off which tells me age is catching up with me now. Lol.  My brother will probably race the mono shock bike at Valdosta in street ET if we can get him some seat time this week.  I will likely wait until after that event to do a nitrous oxide pass to insure I don't hurt anything before he gets on it.

Frankie, it is 9nly upsidedown in thumbnail... If you flip your phone 180 degrees when taking the photos that should fix this problem in the future...

Glad you got a few runs in and nothing was broken...  best of luck getting the seat time and prep before the next round...

When you click it it's right side up. After a first-round win, I always say we did better than half of them. There's also something to be said for taking it all home intact.

An example of a hard launch for this bike. The 60 foot time was good but the ET was not the best for this bike. She's gotten weak and is screaming for attention.
