This is a really silly question I'm sure, but I've already had to pop the bearings back out of this wheel once because of forgetting the silly spacer that goes inside the larger bearing so I don't want to leave any room for mistakes. The spacer in the photo below goes in with the wider shoulder facing away from the hub, right? And it goes in
after you've installed the seal, sprocket and the little cover plate thing as well, right?
Also, what's the best tool for installing the seal inside the rear wheel bearing retainer? I tried using a piece of PVC pipe and a rubber mallet and ruined one seal already. I bought 2 extra this time but would rather get it done right.
Thanks all for all the help through my various CB550 adventures.
