Hondaman's book
« on: October 25, 2022, 08:50:35 PM »
Being a fan of the SOHC 750 and owning three of them, I of course have "My CB 750 Book" as should everyone who loves and works on these motorcycles. Since I took on the task of refreshing the motor from a 1978 F3 Supersport (kind of sorry I did). I needed information on selecting bearing shells for rods and crankshaft. On page II-25 0f the hardcover book, at the top of the page, Hondman says to look in the "Reassembly chapter for more information on how to select bearing shells. Seek as I will, I cannot find a "Reassembly chapter" in the hardcover version I have.  Is my book missing a chapter?

Engine reassembly chapter is near the front, on mine is 1-c1, right after teardown.  I believe what you're looking for is on 1c-3

Don't worry, I often miss things that are right in front of me.

Beemer: drop me a line if I can help, always glad to! :)
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
