Glad to be here joining the sohc crowd. One of the guys on the other forum I check into told me about this site. I'm gald he did. I've gotten a lot of help over there and was glad to find out about this forum. Long story short... last Xmas my wife and I decided to give each other vintage bikes. It was fun to bid on them and take the trips to pick them up (thankfully we went before the real bad weather hit). I watched my big mouth doing it, but I couldn't stop it in time -- "Oh, Honey, we'll fix yours up first and get it running!!" Well, no regrets there except that it seems that it's a lot harder to find parts for KZ's than it is for CB's. I've enjoyed working on her bike; polishing the aluminum covers, getting the tank ready to paint, replacing the rear fender and on and on... I've been selfish on my research time and now I need to get busy on getting her bike running. I'm hoping it won't be too bad since the bike was ridden to where it was picked up just two or three days before. I think I've gone on long enough for an intro. Thanks!
